MEET THE OUTLAWS

Jason and Wayne met in 2011 when Jason owned a local CrossFit Gym. Both guys come from homes with brothers and military dads and those shared experiences coupled with their competitive personalities made them fast friends. When Wayne decided to start the long, intense training for the CrossFit Games, Jason was the natural choice for a coach. With Jason’s guidance Wayne went on to be a 4x Regional CrossFit Games Masters Qualifier and CrossFit Games Competitor.

It didn’t take long for these two friends to turn their attention to a new challenge and in 2021 Outlaw Pizza was born…

Wayne Evans

Wayne Evans is a Native Texan hailing from the small town of Geronimo, TX population 1,032. Wayne has three amazing daughters and relishes getting to be a “Girl Dad”.

The Evans family, including their Aussie Charli, are excited about this new journey, but entrepreneurship is nothing new to this talented group. Wayne is a Co-Founder of the wildly successful Massage Heights Franchising with over 118 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Wayne is still a CrossFit buff and when he’s not slinging pizzas you can find him doing something competitive and probably outside.

“We created Outlaw Pizza because we wanted a place for friends and family to hang out. To come together, with great pizza and have lots of fun.”

Jason Washa

Originally from Oklahoma City, Jason Washa, moved to Corpus Christi, TX in 1988. Jason has two amazing kids who are the loves of his life, Reese and Cale. Jason is an avid surfer who also enjoys paddle boarding, Texas Country Music Concerts, and basically all forms of exercise.

Jason is the pizza aficionado behind the Outlaw Pizza obsession with perfecting classic flavors and inventing new ones.

“A big part of starting this business, for me, was to establish a business for my kids. This has been an incredible opportunity for them to learn and experience something new. I love that they are getting to take part in the legacy I’m creating for them.”

What’s in a name?

“It’s a little edgy but fun. Really we’re two good guys, we’re dads, we just wanted to buck tradition a little bit. Work less at the more traditional job and open a pizza truck. To build something for our families and support good times and good memories.” —Wayne Evans, “Rowdy Wayne” | Co-Founder Outlaw Pizza 46

“We chose the name Outlaws in the sense of being “Mavericks”. We’re going against the grain. We want strong flavors, high-quality ingredients and we wanted to make damn good pizza. We wanted to prove that us two “dough bros” could get it done.” — Jason Washa, “Shooter J” | Co-Founder Outlaw Pizza 46
